Explain the term Bloody Sunday


1)       The workers, the common people and the intellectuals of Russia rose under the guidance of Father Gapon to revolt against the royal reign.
2)       When the Tsar realized that a big mob (crowd) of revolutionaries was marching towards the palace, he ran away from the capital.
3)       The soldier of the Tsar attacked the revolting soldiers of the camp.
4)       This armed conflict caused a big loss of human life.

5)       Hence, since this event took place on Sunday 22nd January 1905, it is known as the Bloody Sunday in Russian history.
