Answer. The equation is

y	+	1	=	3
		y

Multiplying the equation with (y) on both the side.

∴ y(y)	+	y	=	3(y)
		y

∴ y² + 1 = 3y

∴ y² – 3 y + 1 = 0

Now it is the standard form of quadratic equation (i.e.) ax² + bx + c = 0 . Where a is not equal to zero

and a, b, c are belong to Real numbers

∴It is a quadratic equation.
