What is meant by cold War? (Important)


1)       The term 'Cold War' was frequently used by Prof. Walter Lippmann to describe the conflict between Western power led by America and the communist group led by soviet Russia.
2)       The difference in philosophy, political disbelief, diplomacy, competition in weapons, spy, poisonous canvassing of media between the two super powers i.e. America and Russia emerged after the devastating World War II which created war like situation.
3)       This tense condition at the international level between America and Russia is called "cold War"
In short the cold war between these two super powers means no war no peace. Cold war means the war fought in peaceful period without weapons.
