Ans. The following measures have
been adopted to resolve the issues relating to gender inequalities.
(i) The Constitution of India
prohibits discrimination on the basis of gender.
(ii) It has given equal rights,
including the rights to vote to women.
(iii) 33% reservation of seats and
offices for women in local governments has been provided.
