Children's Day.
Children's Day is celebrated on November 14, It is the birthday of Jawaharlal Nehru. He was the first Prime Minister of India. He was very fond of children. Wherever he went, he loved to be with children. Children lovingly called him Chachaji. That is the reason why his birthday is celebrated as Children's Day.
Jawaharlal Nehru said, "today's children are tomorrow's citizens.'. He also believed that children are the future of a nation. Being children, we have many duties and responsibilities to perform. It is not good to waste our time in laziness. As students our prime duty is to study well. If we study well, no doubt, the future of India will be bright.
Along with education, we should have some other qualities too. We must have certain values in our lives. If we are bad, the country will suffer from it. It will be in great trouble because of our bad character. Today, what our country needs are good children.
Jawaharlal Nehru had a vision about India. It is our duty to fulfil his dreams. Thus, we will be able to make India a developed country.
