(i) It retains the necessary staff and creates conditions for their continued association with the organisation.
(ii) Staffing ensures continuous supply of manpower as an when needed without any disturbances or gap of time. If there was no staffing there would be lot of disruption in the flow of work due to the removal of the workforce.
(iii) Staffing does continuous renewal of human resources and see that there is a continuous flow of human resources, as per the requirement.
(iv) Staffing helps the organisation to carry on without stagnating. Therefore, it can be said that staffing is a continuous process.
