A war fought for peace means cold war.

1)       Cold war is a political war, but if it goes very tense beyond the limit it results into war.
2)       There was no such direct war between the two super powers i.e. America and Russia. Both the super powers interfered each other by military forces and ammunition to create their influence.
3)       In short, the cold war between these two super powers means no war and no peace.
Therefore, a war fought in peace means cold war without weapons.
