Traffic Jam In The Heart of Mumbai
Mumbai, February 20: Yesterday, from 10 a.m to 4 p.m., thousands of cars, trucks, tankers, autos and two – wheelers were caught in the traffic jam from Andheri link road to Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminals. It was learnt from some reliable sources that the situation had been caused by a political procession.
The two-hour travel from the northern end to the southern tip of Maximum City took almost 5 hours due to the heave traffic jam. The traffic police found it difficult to maintain order. Rahavan, a senior traffic police officer said that he had never seen such a huge traffic jam in his life time. Shiva, a truck driver, said, “I have been driving for the past 25 years but I have never witnessed such a terrific traffic jam”
