I wish to dispose of the following rare books in my possession :-
-Tagore’s ‘ Gitanjali ‘ with the author’s signature on the title page .
-Johnson’s ‘ Dictionary ‘ ( first edition ) .
-Apte’s ‘ Sanskrit – English Dictioinary .’
These books are valuable . The last book has been out of print for many years . Exepts for the obvious fact they are very old , the books are in a good condition. If you are interested in buying them at a reasonable price , I shall bring them to your shop . Expecting a prompt reply , I am ,

With reference to your letter dated 5th September , 2003 , regarding some old books in your
Possession , we are happy to inform you that we are keen on buying them . Though the books are not in demand now , we appreciate their value and hope to find some customers for them .
Unless we see the books and inspect their condition , we cannot state our terms . please see us with your books between 10 a .am . and 3 p .m . on any working day . we assure you that we shall buy them at a reasonable price.
