Hope
you are fine. I am writing to you because I am facing a problem that I cannot
speak to Mummy or Daddy about. You are the only person I can turn to for advice.
The thing is my best friend Rohit has got involved with a gang of boys in our
locality who are up to no good. They smoke, some of them drink beer, and most
of the time they tease girls.
The
worst thing is that Rohit has started smoking too and he asks me for money.
Much of my pocket money goes on his cigarettes. I cannot refuse him because he
begs and pleads sometimes he threatens that he will tell Mummy and Daddy that I
also smoke. Actually I haven’t touched a cigarette so far, and never will. But
I don’t know what to do. Should I tell his parents? If I do, his friends will
beat me up. How do I stop giving him money? Because by giving him money, I am
only encouraging his habit, which I don’t want to . Also I want him to stop smoking. But he doesn’t listen
to me. Also I want him to stop smoking. But he doesn’t listen to me.

tell me what to do. I am desperate.
