Dear Pritta,
David has written to me to say that you have purchased a
new moped. Congratulations! Though I am pleased about it, I am a bit worried
too. It seems that you haven’t yet learnt how to ride properly, but are still
riding on the highway.
Pritta, I never thought you could be so reckless. Do you
want to end up with a serious injury or fracture? Or even worse? It seems that you ignore signals and do a lot
of overtaking. How could you be so rash? I know you are excited because you have
a new toy. In your excitement, however, don’t forget that you have
responsibility to yourself and to others. I get nightmares just thinking of you
riding recklessly on the busy highway.
Please slow down . Control your impulse for adventure.
There is a lifetime ahead of you. Don’t throw it away. I do hope you heed my
warning. I just want you to be safe.
Your loving friend,
XYZ
