Dear Sahana,

I received your letter this afternoon and was concerned to hear that you're having trouble managing your time. I've always known you to be a sensible and responsible person, so this is surprising.

From your letter, it sounds like you have too many activities planned for each day. I suggest giving up one or two that aren't related to your studies, like going to chess classes. You also mentioned taking both singing and dancing lessons. Perhaps you could focus on one of those for now.

Set aside a specific time for your homework. I know you love reading storybooks, but save that for before bed. And, this is very important, cut down on your TV watching. I think you're not only watching your favorite cartoons but also the TV serials that Chachi loves to watch (at least that's what she mentioned in her letter to me!).

Remember, your studies are the most important. Everything else can be either eliminated or reduced. Understanding your priorities is the first step to effective time management.

I hope this letter has been helpful. Please write and let me know about the changes you've made to your schedule.

Your loving brother,

XYZ
